While Ashley utilizes many avenues to get new clients, her single greatest source of business is from the military community. She shares, “As a military spouse myself, I understand the unique needs and hardships military families face. Fellow service members recognize this and put their trust in me when it comes to buying, selling, or referring to their friends. So when I got into real estate, it was my goal to change the game for homebuyers who’ve served in the military. Buying a home and moving is a big deal, and it’s an even bigger deal when you’re being deployed across the country to an area you’ve never visited and where you may not have any connections. It’s not something you should walk into blindly, and yet for many servicemen and -women, there isn’t a choice.”
Not content to let other military families flounder and risk making a significant investment without the correct information, Ashley decided to educate her buyers. As such, she shares that she “wanted to educate my buyers before they ever even start the home-buying process by providing buyer consultations and a variety of free, helpful resources designed to set them up for success. These resources include thorough, descriptive video tours and virtual walkthroughs of available homes, their surrounding neighborhoods, and the town itself (so you can see ALL of the bigger picture!) as well as other information to give my fellow military families a clear understanding of the market and other variables—making them confident in the buying process and comfortable with their finances.”
