I currently deal with all generations in my life, so I feel I’m hanging in with the best of them,” says Julie.

I have always loved decorating, looking at houses, so I thought, why not. I’m getting older, and this might be something I can do until I retire.

“Real estate was the career I chose to get in for my retirement years. My passions go from home architecture to interior design and top off with organizing. To me, these all fit together. When the outside and the inside come together and make your home a place you love.”

Her areas of focus are also the same areas that she has lived in all her life. As she candidly shares, “Having lived in the areas that I focus on nearly all my life, I believe I know it like the back of my hand. But like wrinkles, I too get surprised again and again with new and improved roads that pop up.”

Why did you pursue a career in real estate?

“I thought I was applying for a job under the career section of a competitor. Little did I know I was about to embark on a career change as an agent. But I have always loved decorating, looking at houses, so I thought, why not. I’m getting older, and this might be something I can retire with,” Julie remarks.

Why was Fathom Realty the right fit for you?

Julie particularly pointed to the company’s commission model. “I wanted to keep my money and not give so much away in commission splits. I’ve worked for commission split companies and for companies that charge a minimal amount of money. I find the lower the amount, the lower the service.”
