Jon Gwin’s professional journey is a testament to his leadership and innovative spirit. Having held executive roles at renowned institutions such as American Financial Network, Wachovia Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Accredited Home Lenders, Jon has driven success and operational excellence. At American Financial Network, his leadership was pivotal in achieving over $13 billion in annual retail and wholesale production, with thousands of loan officers and brokers originating loans under his guidance.

In his early career stages, Jon contributed to the #1 IPO on Wall Street in 2003 through his sales leadership positions. His deep-rooted knowledge and hands-on experience in the mortgage industry have been instrumental in establishing some of the first Compliance Management Systems, developing comprehensive training programs, and implementing industry-leading technology and fulfillment processes.

As a licensed real estate broker since 2006, Jon has also managed a real estate brokerage in San Diego, further showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence in the real estate sector. His contributions to the LendersOne network of over 400 national lenders, where he serves on the Board of Directors, highlight his dedication to sharing insights and driving industry standards.

Jon holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and a juris doctorate from Concord Law School of Purdue. He was admitted to the California Bar and has been recognized by National Mortgage Professional Magazine as one of the forty most influential mortgage professionals under forty.

Jon lives in California with his wife, four kids, three dogs, two cats, and one horse, creating a lively and bustling household. When he’s not leading industry innovations, Jon enjoys staying active with CrossFit, exploring the skies through general aviation, sailing the open waters, and indulging in various outdoor adventures.
