Top 1,000 Power Broker 2022 Report Published

RISMedia’s 2022 Power Broker Report ranks Fathom Realty number 16 in total residential sales volume, up from number 22 in 2020. Fathom also ranked ninth for closed residential transactions, up from number 13 one year ago.

The 2022 Power Broker’s higher ranking for Fathom results from $12,169,879,000 in total sales volume for 2021 generated by agents closing 38,434 total real estate transactions on both the buy and sell sides. Fathom’s real estate agent network grew 48% to 8,100 agents on December 31, 2021, up from 5,471 agents at the end of 2020.

RISMedia’s 33rd Anniversary Power Broker Report & Survey is based on an online survey of residential real estate brokerages in the U.S., conducted by RISMedia from Jan. 21 to Feb. 25, 2021. To be eligible for the 2021 survey, brokerages must have completed a minimum of $75 million in residential sales volume in 2020.

Highlights from the 2021 Survey include:

• 84% of Power Brokers believe a lack of inventory is currently their greatest challenge
• Most Power Brokers (31%) believe buyers and sellers who delayed plans in 2020 are their greatest opportunity
• Most Power Brokers (50%) describe their market as “booming”
