As part of Fathom Realty’s ongoing commitment to giving back, our agents in Texas came together for Fathom Serves Week from June 8-14, 2025. Across the Lone Star State, Fathom Realty districts united to volunteer, support local organizations, and make a tangible difference in their communities. From food pantries to shelters and animal rescue efforts, the Fathom family in Texas embraced the opportunity to serve, demonstrating our core values of service, compassion, and community impact.
Farmersville Food Pantry: A Coffee-Fueled Community Effort
District Director: Bonnie Lloyd
Bonnie and the Dallas SE, Collin E, and Collin SW districts kicked off Fathom Serves Week with a heartwarming community service event supporting the Farmersville Food Pantry. Agents and local community members met for coffee, raising money and gathering food donations to fill the pantry. They successfully raised $250 worth of food and donations, then spent time shopping for and stocking the pantry at the Farmersville Church of Christ. This meaningful act of service helped feed local residents in need, and agents expressed their commitment to making this an ongoing event.

Feed My Starving Children: Packing Meals for a Global Cause
District Director: Bonnie Lloyd
In another impactful event, Bonnie Lloyd and the team volunteered with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Richardson, TX. This Christian nonprofit organization is dedicated to feeding hungry children worldwide. Fathom agents gathered together to pack 100 boxes of nutritious meals, which will provide 21,600 meals to children in need. This was the third time Fathom agents have volunteered with FMSC, and it remains a powerful reminder of how hands-on involvement can make a significant difference in fighting hunger globally.

Community Food Pantry of McKinney: Fighting Hunger with Dignity
District Director: Shivonne Carolina
The Collin C, Collin W, and Collin NW districts made their mark at the Community Food Pantry of McKinney, where they volunteered to help stock shelves, organize donations, and prepare food for distribution. The pantry serves about 700 individuals weekly, providing a dignified shopping experience for those facing food insecurity. This volunteer event highlighted the ongoing need in the community and reminded everyone that by working together, we can restore dignity and support those struggling with hunger. Fathom agents are already planning to continue supporting the pantry in the future.

Denton Freedom House: Empowering Individuals Overcoming Addiction
District Director: Kimberley Ellis
Denton N & Wise County district came together to support Denton Freedom House, a ministry that provides recovery services for individuals battling substance use disorders, mental illness, and trauma. Agents helped with donation collection and delivery for Freedom Food Pantry, which serves 230-250 households daily. They also contributed to the organization’s recovery programs, ensuring individuals have access to the necessary resources for their recovery journey. This effort truly aligned with Fathom’s mission to empower individuals to rise above adversity.

Pets Fur People: Serving Our Furry Friends
District Director: Stephanie McLean-Kirby
In Tyler, TX, Stephanie McLean-Kirby and the East Texas/Rockwall County district volunteered at Pets Fur People, Tyler’s oldest no-kill animal shelter. With more than 80 adoptable dogs, the shelter faces significant monthly costs, including food, veterinary bills, and supplies. Fathom agents spent time walking dogs, cuddling with the lap dogs, and showing love to the shelter’s furry residents. The event also raised awareness of the shelter’s ongoing needs, and volunteers were able to provide much-needed items, including food, blankets, and toys. Fathom agents hope to continue supporting these lovable animals until they find their forever homes.

A Texas-Sized Impact
Fathom Serves in Texas was a tremendous success, with agents coming together to support local food banks, shelters, and nonprofit organizations. Whether volunteering at food pantries, assisting vulnerable individuals in recovery, or caring for animals in need, Fathom agents demonstrated the true spirit of service. They made a tangible difference in their communities.
As we continue to serve and support those around us, we remind everyone that Fathom Realty is more than just a real estate company. We are a family united by a commitment to service, compassion, and making a positive impact. Thank you to every agent who participated.
