A big shoutout to Rhonda Ryals – District Director, Tampa, FL and her Agents, Angelia Davis, Matrol Sanders, Kyle Struthers, and Denitra Williams, for representing Fathom Realty and the Greater Tampa REALTORS® in the 2nd Annual “Real Estate Build” in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County, Florida.
Founded in 1987, the mission of this globally well-known organization is to “build and renovate homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent, affordable housing.” On Wednesday, October 6th, this group of volunteers raised the roof trusses on a Habitat home for a deserving family in the Sweet Daisey Estates neighborhood in Temple Terrace, FL. To date, Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County has partnered with homeowners and the community to build or renovate over 300 homes. In addition, the District worked alongside members of the local real estate industry, including other brokerages and lending partners.

Rhonda approaches her business and community service with great passion and dedication. Since taking on the District Director position just a few months ago, she is already modeling the guiding principle of service for her team. Rhonda organizes a volunteer group for Habitat projects every year and was happy to welcome her Agents in this labor of love for the local community. As she reflects on working on these homes, she says it’s “hard work that doesn’t feel like work.” Rhonda and her District are already planning for their next project in the upcoming year.
