On Saturday, May 25th, during Memorial Day weekend,  Fathom Realty’s Coastal Carolina District, under the leadership of Kimberly Nicoll, participated in the Military Appreciation Parade and Picnic at Valor Park, Market Common, Myrtle Beach, SC. The Fathom Serves event aimed to honor and express gratitude to our nation’s veterans for their selfless sacrifice. 

As the parade wound its way through the vibrant streets, Fathom’s presence was unmistakable. A tricked-out golf cart adorned with Fathom Realty signage led the procession, accompanied by spirited music and waving flags. Along the route, children delightedly reached out to catch patriot rubber ducks tossed by our Fathom family, symbolizing the camaraderie shared on this special day.

Meanwhile, a dedicated team, including Robin Powell from Encompass Lending and local agents from Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Hilton Head markets, stood ready to greet attendees at Valor Park. Their unwavering commitment to our veterans and their families was palpable. Fun giveaways brought smiles to children’s faces, while poppy pins served as poignant reminders of the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women. For those in need, valuable VA loan information was readily available, ensuring access to vital resources.

Amidst the festivities, a food truck generously provided free lunch to all attendees, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. As the day progressed, hearts were touched as Quilts of Valor presented handmade quilts to local heroes, honoring their bravery and commitment to our country.
